Weekly Update 9/17
Injury reports now on Knack, snap count percentages, and other updates on the databases.
Welcome back to the Football Sheets Weekly Update!
Short week this week due to the Chargers Monday Night Football game, but lots of new updates on the Knack side of things.
Let’s get into it.
Database Updates
The big update here is the addition of injury reports, which was added on Friday. For more detail on that feature, you can read the full announcement below.
The 2025 NFL Injury Report page will be updated daily alongside the transactions to keep you the most up-to-date on the happenings around the league.
Injuries are also saved to a player’s Details page, so you can see every week that a player was on the report.
Elsewhere on the Details page, you can now see the percentage of snaps in each phase that a player has taken in addition to the raw count.
Need to know how a defensive line rotation is breaking down? Looking for who’s likely to step in as the replacement for an injured player? Curious about Travis Hunter’s two-way usage?
It’s all there now.
Last week, we told you to watch out for some pricey veterans to sign deals now that contracts are not fully guaranteed for the entire season. Jadeveon Clowney (Cowboys) and Preston Smith (Commanders) have both since come off the board.
One other note: depth charts are currently delayed due to a version bug on Knack that prevents the table from displaying correctly to users. There is no ETA for when Knack will patch this, but as soon as they do, you’ll be able to see dynamic depth charts based on snap count numbers.
Coming Soon
We’re still hard at work on our NCAA database, which should be coming by the end of September or beginning of October. This will have school, jersey number, position, height, weight, class, remaining eligibility, recruiting pedigree, hometown, high school, and transfer history for every FBS player once it is fully complete.
We currently have 48 more schools to input roster data from, after which the database will go live on Knack. Eligibility and recruiting info will then be updated on the live database.
This database will power our pages regarding All-Star Game Watchlists and Invitations, NFL Draft Decisions, Pro Day Results, NFL Combine Results, and the Internet’s most complete Transfer Portal Tracker over the course of this draft cycle.
Some smaller quality improvements are also on the way for the existing NFL databases.
Something not in this update that you want to see? Drop a comment on this post and we will do our best to make it a reality.
